Tree Stump Grinding in Brisbane
We have the latest machinery to grind out all stumps, whether it's in the front or back yard, up or down steps, in garden beds, next to fences, you name it - we can Stump Grind It!
Stump grinding involves the use of a machine to grind down the tree stump below ground level. This prevents the tree from reshooting, removes the visual and safety problem of a dead stump along with making your area usable once again.
On average we grind to a depth of 200mm -300mm below ground. However we can go deeper if required (e.g- Concrete Driveway, Footings, Pool etc)
Our stump grinding team will grind the stump to a maximum width of ‘C’ (see below) which is 100mm greater than the circumference of the stump at point ‘A’ (stump diameter). The standard depth is between 100-300 (‘D’) depending on stump location; for example, next to a fence or near water/power supply. If safe we will grind to 200mm-300mm, if services are underground then we will grind to a safe depth.
ROOT CHASING
Root chasing is grinding out roots that are above ground level. Moreton Bay Figs, Poinciana's and Jacaranda Trees are most common to have a root presence above the ground.
You might consider having the Tree roots ground out for safety, aesthetic and structural reasons.
